ROMs ROM zip in emulator?

How do you do it? I have a zip (installable via CWM (although thats what briked my phone but.. lets not go there)). How do I install it in the emulator?

After doing some research it seems (from what i read) that you cannot just install a custom rom.zip onto the android emulator (sdk), you'll most likely need to convert the system to a .img file and install that way. I can touch up on this more after i get home from work if you like. Hope this helped
