Rookie needs terminology dictionary help

O. K. I use this android phone in my business every day and love it . Now could someone list all the abreviations you guys use , so I will know what the heck they mean . For instance I don't know what the following mean ; rooted phone ? mms ? sms ? etc ... Thanks

you dont know what an mms/sms is? MMS = picture mail SMS= Text Message: Rooting a phone is basically hacking it to get full unrestricted access to it.... Anything else?

Rooted means its been hacked. Mms is multimedia message
SMS is your basic text message.

rooted phone means adding custom firmware to the phone. Basically it allows gives you God access to the phone, more freedom to install things etc (invalidates warranty)

mms is a multimedia text message

sms is a normal text message
