Root Root 1.57 ?????

I am using 1.26 now(root) and if I want to update to 1.57... After the update my device will
stay rooted or unroot??? If it unroot can I use superoneclick to root it like when I was 1.26???

Yes, you will lose root if you update to 1.5.7. You shouldnt use superoneclick on the Atrix. There are reports of it corrupting the internal memory and the kernal itself and bricking phones. The Gladroot and gingerbreak methods are fairly easy and safe however.

lol!! I just updated it yesterday and everything when I was on 1.26 still here!! applanet, superuser, etc. (I updated it through software update in setting menu)

So what do you mean about superoneclick will brick the atrix??

Wierd never head that superoneclick will brick the atrix, it does do a messy job of rooting the phone. As for rooting when on 4.1.57, just use gingerbreak, the link is posted at the top sticky in this forum, as superoneclick does not work on 4.1.57+
