root 2.3 chinese android tablet

Reading the forums, there is so much talk about rooting android phones & tablets, so I would like to have a go, but have not got the first idea where to start. I would like to have a go on a cheap chinese tablet I bought in Australia, Kogan Angora. Could someone point me in the right direction how to do this. Thanks from Bob. Hi Rob, If you're new to hacking and rooting Android devices, and never done it before. I suggest you actually start with a popular and well documented device that has a good strong hacking, rooting and ROM development community, e.g. Amazon Kindle Fire or Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Problem with trying to root many of the Chinese devices, is that often there is little or no information on them at all.
