Root Root 4.1 or 4.1.1?

Hi. Should I upgrade to 4.1.1 before rooting or should I not? Or does it not make any difference? Thanks for any advice.

I've also been wondering this, so thanks.
I downloaded a root package a few days ago, (can't remember where from or what the name is - I'm at work, so I can't check). Which is the best one out there to use?
AND, if your pc installs the drivers itself when you connect the usb for the first time, it is necessary to install the 'other' drivers with any root package that you plan to use?

I rooted first, then put the 2 update files on my sdcard, and flashed them both in CWM one right after the other just like I flash anything else.

Wasn't hard at all, however now I am on Jr5 ROM and loving it.

Do the update first!!! Its such a pain to update when rooted

If you keep the stock recovery you can OTA update with no problems. If you use the clockwork mod recovery, you have to go back to stock then upgrade then reflash the clockwork mod
