Root root .621 yet?

Well my dad got the .621 ota and decided to take it. I had his phone rooted so he could use free wifi tether with the galaxy tab. Now he's cussing me out about buying the tab for nothing so he's been taking my razr.

Please tell me somebody's come out with a way to root .621?

Not directly/easily. You have to use Linux to SBF to Milestone X version 604 and then root that using Windows. Here's the method:

I might try it. I've never used linux before but it can't be that bad. I really appreciate it.

SBF'ing using the Linux method is one of the easiest things to do. Kinda "plug & play" if you will. I'm sure a root method will come along in time. Just gotta be patiant.

This won't help you with an already updated device, but might be useful for folks who haven't installed .621. Voodoo ota RootKeeper does work with .621. It is available from the Play Store. It does require root. You run it on your rooted device prior to being hit with the ota update. It preserves a copy of the modified su. After the update, run it again and root returns.
