Root root and CM

If I can root my 2012 Nexus 7 tablet and get CynagenMod in stalled will there be ethernet support and USB file transfer to and from my device..meaning mostly music files but general file storage into the USB drive...I only have 8 gigs...
also does anyone know a place in the SE that will do this for me for nothing or maybe 5 bucks. ??

Hey @af5949, I've moved your thread over here to the N7 (1st gen / 2012) root area for you.

I've not kept-up with the CyanogenMod versions available for this device, but I'm sure there are a few hanging around.
