Root Root App Question

just a quick question. i am rooted on hboot 2.18 and i have flashed a custom ROM (if it makes any difference what so ever). any who the main reason i rooted was for the wireless tether application, well it sucks..bad the upload and download speeds are terrible on start up then get slightly better once everything really starts my UP is like 3.5 and the down is like 45.6 (average) which i guess isn't terrible but when i connect my computer or another android phone it says there is no network access and iv tried reinstalling rebooting the app and it doesn't help at all..anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Are you downloading the Wifi Tether app from the market? Have you tried downloading a different version of Wife Tether? If not, you can find more versions here:

Have you used the one that comes with the rom? Sense roms have the hacked hotspot app and cyanogen mod and all AOSP I have tried come with tether in the settings

wow thanks i had NO idea the hot spot app was hacked.. it works great, now lets hope its actually hacked and dont get charged for it :P thanks
