Root root camera fix?

I just took a picture of my ged in portrait mode and it came out sideways. Is there a fix for this or should I try another camera.

Try setting the ged vertical against a backdrop. Then take the picture while holding the phone vertically.
If you shoot straight down the phone has no concept of portrait/landscape.
