That's gonna be a good minute, since it just came out.. Need your bootloader unlocked and twrp built/flashed for it so you can flash a SuperSU/Magisk.zip with the twrp

Rooting a device, in simplest terms, is having admin access to all partitions of your device.
What issue are you having?
Hello there, I know this sounds really stupid.
But been trying to follow the information in the link on how to root the Motorola e5 from cricket and it's not easy to follow. I don't mind keeping the same is, but do want the WiFi hotspot as we've got to pay for it at the moment and with 2 phones it's an extra 20 a month and there only 8gb limit on there, and I've always thought if you buy a phone, then you should be able to use all of it, not have to pay extra for features that is built in and other providers don't charge for.
But I'm so confused and seen that others have bricked there phone trying to follow the examples.
Any help or step by step would be really grateful..

I havent been able to unlock the bootloader to install TWRP, anything else i can do to get root?
Have you checked over at xda? Of there is a way the developers would post the. I'm on my phone otherwise I would provide a link for you.
Always head on over to xda to look for root among other goodies.

Looked on XDA also, no ones had luck with the Cricket variant
I done think I've seen anything for Cricket devices since they wore out @shinru2004

did you not read my ealier post in this thread. there is no activity for this device.thus there is no development going for it. so i doubt you will see a solution on how to root this device.
going forward always look over at xda for any hint of rooting for whatever device you plan on gettiong or already have.
