Help root external 2 internal

Is the "root external 2 internal" app no longer available on the AppStore? I've got a new tablet and started looking For it again but can't find it. Did a web search and found the .apk on a couple of websites, but they seem to want to force me to download a bunch of other stuff I don't need.

Yup. Google Play return "We're sorry, the requested URL was not found on this server." Either it has been removed totally, or just in the US (where I'm located). Caveat emptor if you sideload from some random Internet site.

It's gone in the UK Play Store too. And as Mr Lucky says, be careful where you download from, because you might end up with a version that has malware added to it.

I found a clean copy but found, with kit kat 4.4.2, it doesn't work. Some changes somewhere make it nonfunctional. Oh well...
