Root, flash, or anything: broken S III

tsukkisuki

Lurker
I have a broken (dropped it) Galaxy S III (T999) laying around and I would like to make some use of it if possible. The phone will not boot nor enter recovery mode, it just vibrates when I turn it on and it turns off afterwards. I also have tried everything (not involving flashing, rooting, etc.) to recover the phone.

Therefore, if there's any method to root, flash, etc. without involving recovery mode, please do share. I already have new phone so any option is open for me. Thank You.

The screen is perfectly fine. It basically won't turn on because I dropped it. The battery seemed to be in normal condition before I dropped it, so battery shouldn't be that much of an issue.

Then I would venture to say that after being dropped, something got loose, or broken internally and won't allow the device to turn on.
Does it appear to charge? -- (led indicator) I would assume you tried to turn it on whilst plugged in?

Yes, I have tried plugging it in: sometimes the LED light comes on, but it turns off after a few seconds and sometimes the LED light does not even turn on. I have also tried removing the battery and plugging it in, same results as including the battery.

Moved thread to the Android News and Talk forum in hopes others can help.
My best guess is that something internal is borked and without some factory repair service, there is no hope of bringing it back:(
I hope I'm wrong, but I'm out of ideas :o
