Root for J7 Perx?

Hello all, I have been looking around for a while now and I'm not finding much in the way of anything root for the J7 Perx. Model SM-J727P. On Boost Moble. I just bought this phone and I would like to root it but pretty much all I'm finding is stuff for different models and not sure that would work on this model. If anyone has any info on this I would be very appreciative to hear about it. Thanks for your help.

Looks like someone got it rooted a few months ago.

Hello all, sorry it's been so long. I have had to replace my phone since my last post and all kinds of other stuff along the way but I have tried rooting my phone and I'm not getting it to work. Seems I need to unlock it first. I'll post my findings as go.
