Hi all,
I would like to get some help rooting My Samsung Galaxy A71. If anyone can point me it the right direction I'd appreciate the help.

Thank you,

Tom

I assume you've done this and can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I downloaded the

firmware and used Odin to install. My bootloader is unlocked.

Downloaded and installed the latest Magisk Manager APK.

I Open Magisk Manager and try to go to "Install > Install > Select and Patch a file".

I get no way to "Select and Patch a file'. I've gotten this far.

RED "Magisk not installed" and GREEN "Magisk Manager is up to date".

I can't navigate to the file I put on the phone. What am I missing?

is the option to select and patch not there? or there is no option? or is it greyed out?

Thanks for the reply. There's no option. The APK installs and then I get a page with RED "Magisk not installed" and GREEN "Magisk Manager is up to date". No option to do anything.

Thanks for your suggestion.
How would I go about installing via custom recovery? Not sure how to do that.

OK, Thank you to everyone that has tried to help. I'm throwing in the towel and returning the phone.o_O

Cheers.
