Root Root galaxy note SGH-I717R

Been looking around the net. Can't find anything that tells me how to root the Samsung galaxy note SGH-I717R with ICS 4.0.4.

All the information i've found tells one how to root the international version.

any hints?

I've taken the liberty of moving your post into the Galaxy Note forum, even though yours is the Rogers (Can) version.

10 threads down there is one that starts with [HOW TO].

I used that method last night and now I'm running paranoid android.

Booting into cwm is tricky though. I have to hold volume +, volume -, and power. After the first vibration I have to let go of the power button. It doesn't work any other way for me
