Root GT-I9100 Android 4.0.4 without flashing kernel

Hi I want to root my GT-I9100 without flashing any kernel. I found some thread here to do this on ICS, but I don't know if it is for 4.0.3, 4.0.4, or both?

I guess it will work for both as it stated ICS and not ICS 4.0.3 nor 4.0.4.
