root htc evo v

Alright, so I have an HTC evo v virgin mobile that I believe I rooted, like when I booted up I had superuser and could access the root of my sd card from es file explorer but when I use fastboot it still says s-on, does this mean that I'm not rooted or am I rooted. Plz help

You can download a root checker app off of the play store to see if you're rooted or not.

If that doesn't help, then someone from here should help you out:
