Root Root is up :)

Well even though it has a 4 in 15 chance in working im sure that another hacker will come along and refine his work.

At least the hacking community is making some progress with this phone!
 
Its been addressed on another forum that the posted method will not work. The low successful rate is due to the fact that it is not the right procedure to root. Step 5 is very questionable if you look carefully. Last time I checked, there is no answer key but to answer swipe the screen.

5. Boot into X10 Recovery (Power + Answer Key)
 
I'm guessing this is not the root that Bin4ry and the lads are doing over on xda.

Think I will wait a bit longer or even sell my X10 and get the desire as 2.2 is out on that already and have my mates gloating that I'm still rocking 1.6.
