Root root lg optimus l9 metropcs

Ok im sick of digging everywhere for the simplest way to root and unlock bootloader. I dont have spritebud. My information of my phone is android version 4.1.2 software version lgms76910d model number lgms769. If anyone can show me the SIMPLEST way to do this that would be great. I know this post is in the wrong spot
 
I agree! I too am looking for the EASIEST WAY to root and unlock the BL on this phone! Especially now that Metro has forced the v10d SW update.

Has anyone figured this out without going through a thousand steps? I tried the original "root" solution, only for it to brick my phone. It took me HOURS to unbrick it.

Someone's (anyone's) help is desperately needed as I need to get rid of this stupid bloatware and be able to move apps to my external SD card! Thanks in advance!
 
Thanks to Mario0318's above post that lists the links to root, i figured rooting my l9 looks so easy that even I can do it.
Just want to vouche that my phone is now rooted and after 24 hours there are no glitches at all.
i followed the tips in the one click root thread and it was finished. used the included chinese su app to delete facebook and other metro bloat.
for apps to sd activation, I wasn't sure what a build prop was or how to edit it so with my 'is dere an app fo dat' mentality I typed build prop editor in play store and was able to download something to easily edit this and after reboot apps to sd works
also downloaded busybox as it seems to be a must for a lot of the root required apps.
haven't unlocked bootloader....and from what I researched I probably wont need to as I'm not planning on installing roms any time soon.
