Root root lost msg in twrp? :/ not m8

hi guys,

sorry about this but I thought id get a good/quick answer here
ive flashed twrp and installed root - root check app says root and binary there ok, but twrp keeps saying root is lost :/
this is a Sammy tab3 on 4.4.2 btw

any ideas?

mmm....rom flash failed - some sort of binary error - su binary? :/

I wouldn't worry about what TWRP reports, no offense to the devs but I don't think it's that reliable. Not sure about the binary error, was it ROM or gapps if flashing separately? I've had them before flashing gapps and just ignored it [emoji4]

ah ok thanks saltire - it was the slimkat rom itself that errored - the gapps file appeared to flash ok afterwards

...guess it could have just been a bad file dload - the md5 checked out ok though
