Root Root News

;)
someone is selling a unlock codes on ebay for this phone

That is to unlock from the network, your bootloader will still be locked afterwards. Now for this phone to get all its glory someone will have to find ways around it, loki is patched, and kitkat is really secure so I don't think any generic root one clicks will work... Maybe you all can flash a international kdz of the phone.. At least a chance of removing bloat..

Confirmed working for Metropcs LG L70. towelroot by geohot
I also used the towelroot by geohot method and it rooted my LG L70 successfully, after that I installed from Google Play an application to make my external SD fully writable again and get rid of that limitation brought by kikat. Now I can use my external SD as I used to do with my retired LG Esteem. Rooting using the towelroot method was quite simple and straightforward.

For sure, drop in and install, doesn't get much more simple than that!

Is it free?

This might be a dumb question but...do I need a superuser app installed ? Every other rooted phone I had installed superuser.

What's busybox used for?(didn't install it yet)
BusyBox combines many essential and standard Unix tools into a single compact binary suitable for embedded devices such your Android Phone or Tablet. BusyBox has become an extremely important and popular tool for Android users who have a rooted device. Most Rooted apps rely on the standard Linux/Unix environment given by busybox to perform various low level system tasks. The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU counterparts. BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for any small or embedded system. A must have for any rooted phone! Almost EVERY rooted applications needs BusyBox to perform their magic, if you have a rooted phone then you need BusyBox.

ROOTED!!! I used towelroot. Did this all from my phone, no hooking up to the computer. Worked fast and easy. Now Im using sdfix but not seeing apps fall off the internal memory. BUT, still working on it.

sd card will need to have two partitions.
you -will- delete everything doing this so back up your sd first.
there are apps that are supposed to fix this without a second partition, will report when i mess with it...
