I'm a new user too! I'm not sure it I should root my phone or unlock it first either. Ideally, I'd do what I can to take all the crapware off my Fusion and bring it as close to stock android as possible so it runs faster then it'd be unlocked so I can use any sim anywhere in it. If someone could point me to the best way of accomplishing this that'd be amazing.
