Root question

hi, I have a question. My lg ally's SD card is broke and I'm too cheap to buy one. I have a droid 2 global with a working SD card. Can I put z4root or any other root on the SD card, put it in my Ally and put the root from the SD card onto the Ally and then put the SD card back into my droid 2 without my droid 2 getting rooted? Because I don't really want to root my droid quite yet.

yes. the droid 2 would ONLY get rooted if you ran the software thats on the card. Just having the software on the card does not mean its rooted, you have to run teh software to root it.
