I'd say it's worth it to do it as soon as possible, just to get it out of the way. Copy all your crap to your PC, go through the root process (think it took me under half an hour total), copy everything back over. You'll spend the next couple days re-tweaking everything, but it's you'll know you won't have to worry about it again.

I have to admit... at this point, I'm starting to lose patience. I only want root for *1* freaking thing. not having it isn't killing me, but it's really starting to grind my gears. yeah, I went there.

c'mon, Dan! You rooted pretty much every other Moto phone quickly. What's the hangup with this one?!
