Root section for US Cellular customers?

I am looking to maybe change from my Evo to the S3 and the carrier I would use is US Cellular. They have the best service and reception where I live by far. I don't see an "All things root" forum for US cellular phones. Do I use a different one? Are the roms different depending on the carrier?

Just reported your post so a mod or guide should respond. Stay tuned.

Out of interest, what hardware is different that means kernels and roms aren't compatible?

I can't believe how much samsung bends to US carrier awkwardness. Its starting to drive me mad. There only needs to be 4 versions

I've been wondering this too. It doesn't seem that there is a big difference in the US versions, besides the Verizon version having a locked bootloader. Not sure on how much else is different.

Honestly I'm not sure, to me they all look pretty similar but cyanogenmod have had to build a Rom for each variant. After Chainfire updated his triangle away app for the US variants it still didn't work on the us cellular despite working on Sprint so there are definitely differences somewhere

An update to my previous post. It appears that the USC uses gsm whereas Sprint is CDMA which could cause the incompatibilities. Don't quote me on that though:)
