Root/SOff Desire C

Hi. Posting here cos I think it'll get more attention than in the Desire C section.

My friend has a Desire C and would like to know how to root it, so he can install the Nameless Rom onto it.

I found one which uses a bootable IMG to root, but you need to unlock the bootloader before doing so. IIRC, Scotty said not to unlock the bootloader without s-off.....

Help?

Search on xda-developers.com there are many Roms for desire c
