Root Rooted and can't send MMS's anymore....

I installed UD a few weeks back and noticed that in taskkiller the stock messenger was constantly open and it was never like that before. So i backed up the stock messenger and deleted it. Now i notice it wont send MMS anymore and im really not sure how long its been like this, but im suspecting it might be from deleting the stock messenger. Only thing it wont let me restore it on TiBu and i cant find it in the market lol. So do you guys think thats the problem or could it be something else, and if that is the problem where can i find the stock messenger to reinstall?

thankfully the awesome rom that UD is has options to reload some stock apps, one being the messenger. But now i still have the original problem and that is the messenger stays running always. Im kinda OCD about my phone but i guess i can get over this if theres no way around it but any info would be awesome. Thank you.

just asking, but why is it such a big deal that the MMS app is always running.

From what I know it will always be running under the google framework. That is unless you stop it there...you can access that by going into running services

Just kinda OCD about stupid shit like that, if it has to be running to send MMS than its fine, but i know it didnt always show up on my taskkiller and was wondering why. Iftheres a way to hide it or get MMS without it being on id appreciate some tips.

1. Uninstall task killer - Android handles memory management fine, especially post-Froyo versions. If you're really THAT concerned about memory management then download AutoKiller and select a more aggressive memory-management preset (I wouldn't go beyond the "optimum" preset, but that's just me) and just let the system handle it from there. You're best off leaving the phone to handle these things on its own, I cannot emphasize this enough. Task killers + Froyo = Really bad idea. The best advice I can give you is to get over your OCD.

2. Don't delete crucial system apps without expecting to run into problems. I wouldn't delete the Phone.apk and then be surprised that I couldn't make phone calls.
