Hi

What does rooted android in android phone. I am using android 2.2 and i am facing some problem while installing a application it didn't install due to the error : the phone is not routed.

can any one tell me what does it means and how can i rooted my phone and is it beneficial/good.

Hello and welcome aboard. I believe that you're trying to install an application that requires a "root" device. Here's a link explaining what rooting is. The pros and cons of rooting. Also, keep in mind that rooting your device will void the warranty. Thanks for stopping by.
