Root Rooted apps questions

Hey guys! i just got my galaxy S and was thinknig about rooting. Coming from an i phone and jailbreaks it was easy cuz all the apps were in cydia! so when i root and i try to get rooted apps like launcher pro and stuff is there something like cydia? or does it just mix with the market place?

You can usually find anything you want on the market place, even apps that require root. Obviously, certain apps cannot be uploaded to Google Market, but you will find that Google's tolerance is a lot greater than Apple's.
