Root Rooted, but no SU binary installed?

So I thought I rooted my Nexus 7, but SuperSU didn't install like it said it would.

I installed SuperSU, but when I try to run it, it says no SU binary is installed.

I have no idea how to proceed.

I only rooted because I want to get OTG mass storage. I just read the last few pages of the thread and saw the app that allows that without root. I didn't want to root anyway, so I'm a little annoyed at myself.

Having said that, I already wiped the device by (kind of, apparently) rooting it, so I might as well keep it rooted if it's useful.

But I have no idea what to do from here. Is it rooted? If not, what can I do?

Then, how can get Stickmount working? It keeps telling me to try again later when I press 'Mount'.

Frustrated. Any help?

I thought SuperSU supported installing the binaries as well, but I could be mistaken.
Anyway, you'll need busybox as well, search for it on Google Play and install those binaries. If the rest of the rooting process went ok, you should be all set and have 'full root'.
