Root Rooted, but will not boot into recovery?

I have flashed Clockworkmod through both the vipermod tool, and then decided to try doing it through ROM manager. When I try to reboot into recovery I just get the dead Android and an exclamation point. It will not boot into recovery, what is my next step?

It says it can't mount the backup path.

If I go into the advanced settings in clockwork, I can mount the system but nothing else. And apparently something changed because the tablet no longer will boot like it would this morning. Now it just hangs up on the Asus logo with the spinning circle.

So now I'm guessing I'm soft bricked with no nandroid.

Do you have an external SD Card? Does clockwork pick up that? Could you put the ROM on there and flash that way?

I also had them on the external card because that is where I initially copied them to. It is not picking anything up on the external card.

I will give this a try when it charges back up, it went dead trying to fix it earlier. I have full access to the recovery, recovery just cannot do anything because it says it cannot mount anything useful for me right now. I know I have root access because I did a titanium backup and used some other root apps prior to finally getting into the recovery.

I almost dropped the hammer on an N7 the other day, figured I would play with this first :p The lack of HDMI is what held me back on that purchase. The lack of an external SD slot bummed me out too.

If that doesn't work, I'm out of suggestions. :o

Mines in for an RMA at the moment so I can't even try anything myself, sorry.

If what you're trying now doesn't work, let me know and I'll ask some of our guide staff if they can assist. They normally know what to do.

The prepackaged one work Thank you! No longer bricked.

Allright... now I cannot get into the recovery again, a broken android (old style at that). Did I lose my root access?
