Root Rooted Dream Stuck on Rogers Splash Screen

Hoping someone can help.

A couple of weeks back I rooted my wife's HTC Dream to install the Cyanogen Android 2.2 ROM. It has been working absolutely fine until yesterday.

Now, when I try to turn it on, it hangs forever at the Rogers splash screen, and I have to pull the battery to get it to shut down.

When I go into the bootloader, I get the following:

no image or wrong image
dreadiag.nbh
no image or wrong image
dreadimg.zip
no image
dreadimg.nbh
no image or wrong image

Any ideas?

Can you get into recovery(turn it off, then hold home + power)?

Yes, i can, fortunately.

Xbrav sent me some links and directions I will try later. Fingers crossed! Going back to CM 5.0.8.
