Root Rooted epic touch and sprint pushed.update

Ok.j.have a rooted epic touch running clockwork and I got my sprint pushed update this morning. Ran it and it gets stuckat the android screen with the robot and thr triangle and doesnt update. Have tried to manually loaded the updats from my card and I am still getting errors. Do I have t ok revert back to stock to apply the update or is there a way around this ok am missing.

Official OTA update will not work if you have CWM, only from stock recovery and also assuming you have not modified the stock EG30(ROM, KERNEL, and MODEM).

Lots of option. Since you are rooted, why not just install the many custom roms that are built on EK02(stock ROM and KERNEL). And if you are on EG30 baseband/modem, you might NOT want to flash EK02 MODEM if the EG30 baseband/modem is working for you.

I have the same problem.

I have CWM and Starburst ROM but got the update message. Had to reinstall Starburst. Any ideas how to prevent this message or the update?
