Root Rooted factory reset question

I have a friend who needs a Metro phone so I am gonna give up my "Cool"pad, so what's the best way to reset this thing for him and remove my personal info tied to Google etc..., it's rooted w framaroot using the newer superuser su , stock otherwise besides removing some stock apps, and would it still to be able to keep root? Would factory reset remove root? Should I try to unroot w framaroot -don't know if that's even an option-, factory reset, then use framaroot to reroot? Ty in advance.

I'm surprised you haven't gotten an answer yet.

I just did a factory reset from the phone menu and ran framaroot again. Boom! Done

Ditto!

TY, I read about a few who unrooted one way or another and couldn't reroot. Didn't wanna have to give him this without root, that would be horrible.

I found a custom recovery for this thing, wanna try it but don't wanna brick it when my friend needs a working phone.

TY again.

I end up w a lot of phones... I'll either dev on em, trade, sell, or just give one up if anyone needs one. They seem to be a dime a dozen these days and a new one out every few days!
Ty again for the help!

That was a roundabout way of asking you to link me the custom recovery to test.
I googled the crap out of it but can't find one.
