Root Rooted HTC Evo V 4g Harmonia 3.17 NO MUSIC

I have an evo v 4g running Harmonia 3.17, I've been trying to listen to music, I've converted all my music to an MP3 format, and it still says it cannot play that type of audio file, however I can set any of these songs as a ringtone. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Moved to Evo V 4G - All Things Root for better exposure.

Search the android play store for "mp3 player". Pick one.

Make sure media volume is up.

This should have been posted in the harmonia thread rather than making a separate one.

I would download a music player from the market or check the format again.

There isn't really any development left in the Harmonia thread so a new one is the only way a problem is realized.
