So I let my brother use my rooted LG Volt ls740 to play a game. The phone had downloaded an OTA update about a week ago, but I've been putting it of and not installing it BC the phone is rooted.
Well he went ahead and did the update without asking and basically soft bricked the phone. It just boot loops to CWM Recovery. I bit the bullet and tried to wipe and factory reset the phone to no avail.
I then tried downloading and flashing with stock Roms zv5 and zv6. Both install fine with no errors. When i go to restart it goes to a screen that says "root access possibly lost, fix" followed by 6 nos and a yes that says Fix root (/system/xbin/su) Whether i choose yes or no it just restarts back to the same screen.
I've looked everywhere and figured if anyone could help it would be here. Please someone help. This phone is my livelyhood and i can't afford to replace it at the current time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!
