Root Rooted, now have a question.

First of all I only rooted to use the wireless tether app and to remove all the garbage apps that VZW pushes to thephone. If that is all l am doing do I need to make a nandroid copy of my current rom? If not will I be able to get the phone back to factory specs in case it needs to be returned? Will I still be able to get OTA updates?

I don't think you can get updates with out all the bloatware that VZW put on. Definitely ned a backup of your original.

No, it actually needs the bloatware or it will fail.

Get Titanium backup and FREEZE bloatware apps instead of Uninstalling them. That way you can just unfreeze them when it's time for OTA's.
