Root rooted phone, did something wrong, market no longer works

forgive my exercising bad form by posting a thread asking for help as my first post. i am going to do it anyway.

so, i rooted my phone and the root worked great. i still had my custom background, all the apps i had installed were still there, etc... then, i used the titanium to delete my unwanted apps. but, the first app i deleted i did it by doing "force remove app (by recovery exploit)".

at that point, my phone restarted and erased all my apps, reset the background, etc. that sucked but i could reinstall my downloaded apps. EXCEPT... the market on my phone barely works, if at all. i can download an app in about 1 out of 15 tries. i keep getting errors that "the application market fails" or something along those lines.

i tried to go through the android market online, but it shows all the apps i have are already downloaded, so it won't push them to my phone for me.

any suggestions?

i think what i did wrong was i deleted the Browser.apk which is required for the market according to the "apps safe to delete" list
