I bought a samsung galaxy s3 without knowing it was rooted..The guy whiped it out before i bought it of course well now the google play store wont work,it wont update software,any type of app for rooted phones i try to download from other places wont run it says access denied please someone help me!!

It's Galaxy S3. But yea, could do with knowing if he did actually keep root. If it is rooted is it a custom ROM on it? If so, what ROM? Could be that you need to reflash the correct Gapps package.
On a side note, be careful where you download from if not on a legitimate play store. Do you have "allow Unknown Sources" ticked in the security?
