Root Rooted TELUS Hero?

I only saw one person over the net who tried it.

Is there somebody here who successfuly done it?

I have been looking into doing this. I just want to be careful so I don't brick it. Unfortunately I am having troubles doing it. I have so far only tried InstantRoot.apk though. I am sure one of the other methods works. Once everything for the Dev Kit is downloaded, I'll probably work on it, however this looks like I'll be trying this tomorrow. If anyone knows any decent roms that work on it well, with phone working and everything, I'd highly appreciate it.

you need to use the "Goldcard" method to root the phone. DJBASIK came up with an excellent guide that i was able to follow and successfully root the phone. in the root section there is a sticky on rooting a Telus hero
