Root Rooted w/GummyCharged, need help switching back to official release

I am currently rooted with GummyCharged installed. I am encountering various problems, and I want to switch to the newest Verizon release. I want to be able to keep all of my contacts, messages, apps, etc. in doing so also. What are the steps I need to take? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can keep all of that. Get Titanium Backup from the market, and SMS backup and restore as well.

I went from Gummy 2.0 to the official GB release, and kept everything. I am rooted, but solely for debloating purposes, on 2.3.6. trparky has an awesome site set up with pretty much all you need to know to make this change, and more. go here http://www.toms-world.org/android and you should have no issues.

That's exactly the type of guide that I was looking for. And starting Friday, I had a new issue. My battery was draining completely within two or three hours. I checked the battery usage, and it said my email was using most of the battery (obviously due to some kind of glitch). But the flash to stock firmware seemed to have solved the problem.

Thanks for the help!
