Apps Rooting: A quick guide (Updated 3/10/09)

Most likely you are on a rogers dream phone and will need this : drop.io pasqiec and you will need fastboot to use it...
 
So I have a rooted G1 running JF 1.51 build CRB43 and I am getting a request for an OTA update, I have Super User and I am able to tether so I know I have root. I thought I wasn't supposed to get OTA updates anymore? What should I do?
