Rooting Adroids

[THEjohnwilliam]

Hello Android Lovers! Lol
I have a basic simple question. Ummm, what is rooting. I'm not aware becasue I've been using iDevics and jailbreaking, but now i switched to the android side. I just want to know what you could do, and possible what you could you do better than a iphone/ipod/i whatever jailbreak. Thanks

Take a look at the "Customization", (#3) section of this FAQ - It does a better job of explaining it than I could.

Hope that helps!
