Can rooting install spyware or viruses on android that even antivirus won't find I wanna root my galaxy tab 3 but I don't want the creator of the root tools spying on me . is there no Google way to root android devices .
Rooting does open your tab wide open to threats so once rooted, be careful about what apps you install, use common sense and read others' experiences.
As for the actual rooting, use a well known method by a respected dev. Probably ChainFire in your case (CF Root).
He has no interest in spying on you
rooting takes off all blocks and safeguards off. you are now the gatekeeper. if you don't do your duty to read and understand what you are loading onto your device. then yes... you might get bad stuff on it.. infected.
same goes for your personal computer.
as for the root process you use.. just read on all the other users comments. don't use small unknown process from small websites.
