Root Rooting failed after 2.3.5

Seems like everything is going wrong. Superoneclick freezes, z4root freezes
cant get the phone into download mode.

any ideas?

It took almost three tries but after super one click 2.2 success phone is now rooted with no ads again make sure debuging is on

i need help to root my samsung 4g epic, the phone have already the gingerbread EI22 but everytime i try to root it at the end when the phone restart and everything say that the phone isn't connect it when its supposed to restart the it doesn't restart it because of it please help me with this issued.. i used one click root 2.5.5
