Help rooting for dummies

does anyoe possibly have a link for Twrp for a lg tribute Ls660 phone. also ive downloaded the drivers i need about twenty times and they dont showup. ive been working on this root for about three weeks now. and im terrified of bricking the phone but since its now stuck in a boot loop i really have nothing left to lose. so please please help me.. i kinda feel like i i a big picture book to walk me thru

Oops, my bad. That's only if you have access to the phone... As far as I know, you should be able to open your bootloader and flash the new recovery there using a computer. That video has a link to the recover that you'll need. Instead of using Flashify, you'll have to use FASTBOOT and ADB through a computer. Just lookup "Flash Recovery Bootloader [Your Phone Model Here]"

Thanks, yeah i cant get past the lg powered by android screen. I had no problems with the phone before the OTA update
