I'm trying to root my Galaxy S running on 2.2 with one click root. I get to the screen where it has instructions on what to do. "install update.zip"
In the actual menu it doesn't have that option. The closest thing is "apply sdcard:update.zip" so I tried that instead and it says
"Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted."
My phone has been reset to factory. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Any other ways for me to root? I'm not familiar with rooting so easy instructions are welcomed.
