i tried using odin, , i loaded universal root on the sd card, i downloaded a clockwork recovery image, i ran odin as admin, i started my tab in download mode, connected it to computer with usb, unchecked the auto boot and partition boxes as told, odin saw my device, went to select tar file and isnt seen when i click on pda in din, and they are there, i downloaded a few in case they were damaged, any ideas??

Are you looking in the wrong directory?
Do you have "Hide extensions for known file types" checked in folder options? (You could have a file named cwm_image.tar.jpg, and if known file extensions are hidden, all you'll see is cwm_image.tar, but it's a jpg file, not a tar file, so Odin won't find it.)
