i have spent all day on here and i have rooted before. i have a nook color that i have rooted and done anything i want with it. but this captivate is about to get thrown.
i understand usb debugging, but when i plug it in it does not show as a drive on my pc. that could be where the problem is. i have tried 4 or 5 different root methods from odin-> to superone click to z4. i cant get anywhere.
is there a way to enable superuser from the sd card? i think somehow the usb port is a fail with this phone (phone got wet, phone was free to me and works after rice and couple hours in the oven).
help please.
