Rooting help please?

[kbolt]

Hi I posted in the Captivate - All Things Root asking for some help with rooting and I see that my post got a good amount of views but no replies, so I thought if I could place it somewhere where more people might see it I may have better luck.

kernel version: 2.6.35.7-I897UCKH3-CL461307

baseband version: I897UCKH3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
